Bernardo Bernard's Skate Jam and Best Trick Contest 2016

On May 18th, 2014 we lost a great friend and team rider Bernardo Bernard. Bernardo was down to skate whenever and wherever! He loved to go to Aala Park to kick it with his homies,bump some tunes on the SK geto blaster, and absolutely destroy the bank to bank, rail, ledge combo. Every year family and friends get together and have a big bbq and skate jam. This year the Shitty KIds crew walked around and took donations for a best trick over the bank to bank, where Bernardo was known to lay down consistent kickflip backlips, four kickflip back nosegrinds in a row, and a rumoured perfect switch backside big flip!... After some very generous donations, the pot was at approximately 180 dollars! Right as the starting whistle blew local skate rat Skyler threw down a first try big flip front board to fakie! Much more insane NBD's and other tricks followed for an hour, but in the end we had to hand it to that out of nowhere full speed big flip board! Very much in the Bernardo style to just out of nowhere bust the craziest trick and then just sit down, chill, and laugh it up with da boys! Congrats Skyler! Awesome times, Thank you to everyone who brought food, bbq, tents, music, smiles, and be sure to come out next year for the 3rd annual Bernardo Bernard Skate Jam!
