Back in da mid 2000's Chuck Mitsui, owner of 808 Skate, was filming heavy for the second shop video, this one more of a sk8 film with commentary, following each team rider around Oahu and places like San Diego, Japan,, Mexico, NYC , entitled Its 808! For years now Bedpan and any daring member of ShittyKids has been hopping on a plane over to the Big Island! Backside floaters at North Shore park, slappies at the mall, Aala front crooky monsters, to long ono kine grinds in Millilani! These young bucks get down, and always have a goodtime skating in paradise!
Kaneohe on the Windward side of Oahu has been known to produce some of the techest street skaters in the Hawaii skate scene. From Mako to Shmatty and even before that Luis aka Qtip, these dudes are legendary for putting down some of the craziest 'flip in/out' tricks on the island! But when it comes down to it, there is no one with a bigger bag of flip tricks then Jason Park! His technical wizardry is known worldwide! A local legend in the '44, he has been holding down the Kaneohe Skatepark for years now, posting weekly on instagram (when he is home) his latest flip combos at the park.
